Grilled Peach Buttered Smash

A juicy twist on your summer sip—smoky grilled peaches, buttery goodness, maple sweetness, and a splash of tequila magic. Shake it up, pour it over ice, and garnish with mint for the ultimate backyard cocktail vibe.

Makes 2 cocktails

Ingredients  

  • 4 ounces tequila, reposado
  • 1 ½ ounces maple syrup
  • 2 ounces lemon juice
  • 1 small peach, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon Vital Farms Salted Butter, melted
  • mint, to garnish
  • peach slice, to garnish

Instructions 

  • Set your grill to medium – high heat.
  • Brush both sides of the peach halves with the Vital Farms melted butter. Reserve the remaining melted butter to add to the cocktail. Grill the peaches for 3 – 5 minutes per side or until charred. Set aside to cool.
  • In a rocks glass, add the grilled peach half and remaining melted butter. Muddle until softened. Then add ice and set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the reposado, maple syrup, and lemon juice with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain over prepared glass. Garnish with a mint sprig and peach slice

No tequila? No problem. Bourbon’s can be a great swap for this cocktail! It brings a warm, smoky hug to your drink—think less fiesta, more fireside hangout. Same party, different vibe.
